Tattva

Definition-Part of the 24 principles of creation in Samkhya Philosophy and an evolution of Prakriti. There are many Tattvas but the five main tattvas
are the five great element (Panchamahbutas): Akasha (Ether), Vayua
(Air), Agni (Fire), Apas/Jala (Water) and Prithvi (Earth). The first
element is called Ether in English and refers to the element of Space
and Sound. Ether itself is the subtlest of the elements responsible for
creating the remaining 4 elements (air, fire, water & earth). The
second element is called Air in English and refers to the element of
Air or anything that is in Gaseous Form. Air is denser than Ether and
less dense than Fire. Ether combined with the Air element work
together to create the Vata Dosha in the negative sense and Prana in
the highest sense. The third element is called Fire in English and
refers to the element of Fire or anything that is in Light Form. Fire is
denser than Air and less dense than Water. The fourth element is
called Water in English and refers to the element of Water or anything
that is in Liquid Form. Water is denser than fire and less dense than
earth. Fire combined with a little bit of water element work together to
create the Pitta Dosha in the negative sense and Tejas in the highest
sense. The last element is called Earth in English and refers to the
Earth or anything that is in Solid Form. Earth is the densest element.
Water combined with the Earth element work together to create the
Kapha Dosha in the negative sense and Ojas in the highest sense.

Tamas

Definition-A Guna is a category, quality, attribute ascribed to forms.
There are many gunas but there are three main ones that start in the
mind. They are the Sattva Guna or quality of Luminosity, Purity and
Knowledge, the Tamasic Guna or the quality of Darkness, Inertia and
Ignorance, and lastly, Rajas Guna or the quality energy that is moving
between Knowledge and Darkness.

thought waves in the Psyche. Tantra includes the body as part of the
psyche, most evidently seen in the scheme of the chakras.

Definition-One of the twenty-two yoga styles. Yoga is the method of
uniting with the divine. Tantric Yoga is the method of yoking with the
divine by using techniques that affect the sukshma (subtle) levels.
Primarily the Psyche and its psychosomatic effects. Tantric Yoga is
heavily involved on working with the chakras. There are three types
of Tantric Yoga, the Black, Red and White. Kundalini Yoga is
considered to be of the White Tantric Yoga tradition.

Definition-One of the twenty-two yoga styles. Yoga is the method of
uniting with the divine. Traatik Yoga is the method of yoking with the
divine by applying a drishti (gaze) towards an object, like a sacred
totem, picture of a Guru, Christ or a Deity in order to help make a
deeper connection to the ultimate.


Treta Yuga

Definition-A Yuga is an Age and a long period of time. The are four
main Yugas: Satya Yuga (Enlightened Age), Treta Yuga (Mental
Age), Dvapara Yuga (Electrical Age) and Kali Yuga (Dark Age).
These Yugas have an ascending and descending direction. The
ascending direction is moving from Kali Yuga (Dark Age) to the Satya
Yuga (Enlightened Age) and the descending direction is moving from
the Satya Yuga (Enlightened Age) and falling into the Kali Yuga (Dark
Age).There is debate about whether we are still in Kali or Dvapara.
Some even posit that we are in Dvapara with a subset of Kali
(Dvapara-Kali). The electrical age (Dvapara) certainly matches the
rise of technology in the external world.


Trikuti Mantra

Definition-A three part or syllable mantra and chanda (rhythm) that
relates to balancing and harmonizing the energy of the G.O.D. Wahe

Turiya

Definition-A high form of consciousness (super-consciousness). It is
an epileptic state on the conscious level.
