Definition-The first part of the 24 principles of creation in Samkhya
Philosophy known as the Mula(Root) Prakriti or Unmanifest Creation,
known to the Alchemists as the Prima Materia. Prakriti is the principle
of Matter. It is within tandem with another concept called Purusha
(Consciousness) and is the vehicle of liberation of consciousness
(Purusha). The Spirit or Consciousness (Purusha) is a singularity
relates to the zero point. Matter (Prakriti) and Form are an evolving
multiplicity relates to infinity. You could say that Purusha is Freedom
and Prakriti is Immortality (The main goals of Yoga). Samkhya values
analysis of inner and outer reality and it distinguishes between the
two. Prakriti in psychological terms is the object and objective world.
Moving towards Prakriti is the maximum point and goal of
Extraversion (the senses/sense world that draws you outward). To
know the object “as it is,” not colored by our projections is a goal of
Yoga. Prakriti is often associated with the mystery of the Feminine
and Matter. Alchemy has by far explored this mystery through
experimentation with matter. The main goals of the alchemists was to
perfect matter and bring imperfect matter to perfection (siddhi) or
completion. In the same way, Yoga attempts to perfect Prakriti,
through body (Ayurveda) and Mind (Yoga) to create a good vehicle
for liberation.

These elements create the Vata Dosha, which is the main Dosha of
disease. Proper use Pranayama keeps the God of Death (Yama) at
bay and increases longevity.

Definition-There are many nadis but there are three main ones. The
Pingala Nadi is the solar or heating channel that starts at the base of
the spine and ends at the 3 rd Eye and comes out of the right nostril.
The Pingala Nadi is responsible for controlling the left brain and the
right side of the body. When the right nostril is open, it is called the
Pingala Svara. The Pingala Svara is a good time for Yang activities
like exercise, . The Ida Nadi is responsible for Apana Vayua and is
Cleansing or operates on the front and lower half of the body (Yin).
