responsibility on the subject. Karma is rooted in metaphysical
ignorance of the Spirit (Purusha), which comes at the expense to
being attached to or confusing the Spirit with the Material world
(Prakriti). Karma is caused by Desire, in which the cause is pregnant
with the effect. Desire motivates you to act. As a result of your
actions there is an equal effect and reaction. If you have the desire to
eat junk food then you move towards fulfilling that desire. But if then
as a result of eating junk food, your stomach becomes disagreeable,
then it was your desire that has caused the reaction and discomfort in
your belly. There are four types of karma that are talked about in
terms of time. These four karmas are Samchitta (Past), Kriyamana
(Present), Agama (Future) and Prarabdha (Birth & Destiny). These
four types are further differentiated into three qualitative levels of
changeability. They are called Drdha (Fixed), Ardha (Changeable)
and Drdha-Ardha (Mixed Results). You can intuitively see the present
karma operating in any one person by observing their actions. But an
astrologer can also see other types of Karma from the Natal
Horoscope. The effect of Karma can also be mapped out with to the
